This is our journal where we document some of our daily activities. Right now we have three major ones; they are as follows: Daily prayer, daily quote and the word per day. Most of us are Christians and we have a Muslim member, please do not take an offense to what we have here. Whether you are Buddhist, Judaism, Taoist, Muslims, Hinduism, any denomination of Christianity, whatever your persuasion, we welcome you. We are one! If you too wish to share a word, quote, a prayer or something inspirational, we ask that you send it to our email at smwsk@googlegroups.com. Sharing is caring.

Prayer
Father Lord, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to be here today. We are grateful to you for giving us life, food to eat and a place to lay our heads. In this world we live in today lord everything is possible. The country is at a standstill right now and there are many who are tempted to end their lives in hopes for a better life in a new world. There are so many people dealing with so many different issues today lord and only you know the true heart of mankind. You walk down the street and you see so many different faces; some are happy faces, some are serious faces, many are downward faces which can often tell that this person is in distress. Distress from the effects of this economy and what it is leading us to. Many are faced with the hardship of providing for their families with no jobs and no hope for the future.
How does one embrace life when there is no hope for a better future? How does one find hope when he has lost faith in our one true god? A lost soul with no hope for future and an absent faith in god can lead to a destructive self and possibly others surrounding him. Others who are innocent. As innocent as a new born that needs love and care. Whatever issues lord that mankind is faced with today, I ask that you help us regain our faith in you and ask that you give us the strength to carry on and be able to face the hardship of this life that we are led to. Only you know our destiny and only you know where our future lies. I thank you for giving a listening ear to our cry each and every day as we gather with each other to share our daily thoughts, our lives and our relationship with you our god. Thank you lord for your continuing strength...In Jesus name we pray....Amen.
